This is due to the existence of two distinct approaches followed by Panjika Makers in West Bengal. One school of thought adheres to the ancient and traditional 'Surya Siddhanta' method, while the other follows the 'Drik Siddhanta' or 'Bishuddha Siddhanta' method. When it comes to lunar day or tithi timings, the Bishuddha Siddhanta provides accurate timing, and we ensure that both methods are covered in our application.
